نفذت جمعية أجيال للإبداع والتطوير، بالشراكة مع مؤسسة بال ثينك للدراسات الاستراتيجية، ورشة عمل بعنوان “دور الشباب في تحقيق السلم الأهلي وتعزيز حماية المدنيين”، وذلك ضمن أنشطة مشروع “سويتش – تحويل مبادئ حقوق الإنسان إلى حياة وممارسات يومية لسكان غزة”، الممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي.
وجاءت هذه الورشة في إطار جهود جمعية أجيال لتعزيز مشاركة الشباب في الشأن العام، وترسيخ ثقافة السلم الأهلي وحقوق الإنسان في المجتمع الفلسطيني، حيث قاد الورشة المدربان ضياء أبو عصر وراما اللوح، بمشاركة مجموعة من الشباب والنشطاء المجتمعيين.
وتناولت الورشة عدة محاور أبرزها: أهمية تمكين الشباب وإشراكهم في صياغة السياسات العامة، ودورهم في تعزيز العدالة الاجتماعية، بالإضافة إلى مناقشة سبل تحويل مبادئ السلم الأهلي إلى ممارسات وسلوكيات يومية في ظل التحديات الراهنة. كما ناقش المشاركون ضرورة توفير الحماية القانونية والدولية للشباب والمجتمع الفلسطيني، ورفع صوت الشباب في القضايا المجتمعية.
ودعا المشاركون إلى تكثيف البرامج التدريبية والمجتمعية الموجهة لفئة الشباب، وتعزيز التعاون بين المؤسسات العاملة في القطاع لدعم المبادرات الشبابية وتنمية قدراتهم.
وتأتي هذه الورشة ضمن سلسلة ورشات عمل ينفذها الفريق الشبابي في مشروع “سويتش”، بهدف نقل المعرفة حول حماية المدنيين، ونشر مفاهيم السلم الأهلي وثقافة الحوار بين أوساط الشباب في مختلف محافظات قطاع غزة.
Ajyal Association for Creativity and Development, in partnership with PalThink for Strategic Studies, organized a workshop entitled “The Role of Youth in Achieving Civil Peace and Enhancing the Protection of Civilians”, as part of the “SWITCH – Translating Human Rights Principles into Daily Life and Practices for Gaza Residents” project, funded by the European Union.
This workshop reflects Ajyal’s continued efforts to promote youth engagement in public affairs and to foster a culture of civil peace and human rights within Palestinian society. The session was facilitated by trainers Diya Abu Asr and Rama Al-Louh, with the participation of a group of young activists and community members.
The workshop focused on several key themes, including the importance of empowering youth and involving them in public policy-making, their role in advancing social justice, and practical mechanisms for transforming the principles of civil peace into everyday behaviors and practices amid the current challenges. Participants also discussed the need for legal and international protection for Palestinian youth and the broader community, emphasizing the importance of amplifying youth voices in societal issues.
The youth participants called for expanding training and community-based programs that target youth, while also stressing the need to strengthen partnerships between institutions to enhance the impact of youth-led initiatives.
This workshop is part of a series of sessions being implemented by the project’s youth team, aimed at disseminating knowledge on the legal and international protection of civilians during wars and crises, and promoting a culture of dialogue and civil peace among young people across the Gaza Strip.
